Chen Zhili Congratulates Lasker Award Winner Tu Youyou
Chen Zhili, vice chairperson of the National People's Congress Standing Committee and president of the All-China Women's Federation, sent on September 12 a letter of congratulations on behalf of the All-China Women's Federation to Tu Youyou, winner of the 2011 Lasker Medical Research Award in recognition of her successful extraction of artemisinin from Artemisia apiacea.
