ACWF Leader Meets South Korean Delegation

Meng Xiaosi, vice president and member of the secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met on April 25 with a 14-member South Korean women's delegation headed by Dr. Bae Yong Lee of the Korea Presidential Council on Nation Branding at the China Women's Activity Center in Beijing.

Meng introduced to the Korean guests the current developments in Chinese women's issues and the ACWF's latest proposals to promote their development and protect their interests.

In addition, the two sides exchanged updates in the fields of women's participation in politics, education and cultural communication.

Also present at the meeting was Mu Hong, deputy director general of the ACWF International Liaison Department.

The delegation arrived in China on April 24, 2012 for a four-day visit at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
